WHY TO CHOOSE LEBANESE GRAPES?

The combination of its moderate climate and the geographical features offering fertile lands, gives Lebanon the advantage of producing top quality fresh fruits and vegetables.

The rich soil and water resources provide Lebanon with key enablers to stand out in the region as an ideal location for agricultural activities. Lebanon has the highest proportion of agricultural lands in the Middle East, with agricultural areas covering more than 65% of the Lebanese territory.

The Beqaa Valley is home to the vineyards and wineries of Lebanon. It is distinguished by its extremely suitable climate with the abundant winter rain, the warm summer, and the temperature variations within the day, which all help the grapes ripen easily.

Producing table & wine grapes is a traditional Lebanese culture! Going back to the Phoenician times, Lebanon was one of the first countries worldwide to cultivate vineyards and to execute trading activities in the eastern Mediterranean.

Beirut port is located in a strategic region on the Mediterranean Sea, which is a key to making the logistical operations smoothly possible for deliveries to the entire globe. Lebanon yearly produces around 120 thousand tons of 15 table grapes varieties.

Lebanese grapes are characterized by their attractive colors, sweetness, crunchiness, and durability. They resist long sea transit times due to their long shelf lives, which make them reach the globe while keeping their distinguished quality and shape
